Bella Napoli

I live in Naples, Italy. There are many outlets for art, culture, history, love and rubbage, crime, pollution and poop on the sidewalks. In all reality, Naples and her populous are very beautiful. You can not have positives without the same amount of negatives that balances everything out. Although I tend to be optimist by choice, I am a pessimist by nature. It comes with my star sign of Scorpio. This also means that I am a sensual and sexual being. I love women. However, I only have time to love one woman. This is why I married. Anyway, I will save that topic for another blog. This one should be about the wealth and filth of Naples. So that is what I shall discuss.

• Humane Disregard
• Traffic
• Corruption
• Con-like Persona
• Lack of Reason
• Non Sequotir Train of Thought
• Abuse of Resources
• Unemployment
• Poop on the Walkways
• Strong Emotions (both a positive and a negative)
• Non Spatial Rules of Engagement (It is not uncommon to be pushed, nudged or bumped without any request for forgiveness. To be blunt, you were in their way . You may hear a "Scusi" { pronounced skOO-zEE} this is a cure all phrase for any infraction or harm committed to or against you)

I have learned to look past most of the craziness that goes on in the daily Naples way of life. I have learned to focus on the positives. However, every once in a while, I find it hard to look past the crap when I am usually confronted with moments of Naples Madness. Especially when they occur hourly... Having a military background, I have been told "No matter how hard you try, you just cannot shine a turd!" Well, Naples has proven this theory wrong. Naples is the shiniest piece of poop that I have ever seen. You do have to be careful though, because while you are here you may just step in one shiny or not so shiny turd.



Well I think that is enough for now, I will continue this when I get my positive outlook back...
